YouTube drama stays some of the most exciting drama, and a new report from The Every day Beast on infighting at political YouTube creator Tim Pool’s information firm — and the destiny of a cat named Betsy — is no exception.
The Day-to-day Beast’s Will Sommer sets the scene with Pool’s track record as a previous Vice reporter who went independent as an alt-suitable-adjacent YouTube creator. But the meat of the report is the combat about Subverse, a news media web page with a YouTube channel (renamed SCNR for a hilarious motive you should browse the report to find out) for which Pool and his previous company companion, Emily Molli, elevated about $1 million to start out.
